Adam Osieka definitely had the right touch this weekend. The entrepreneur, who was born in former German capital Bonn searched a talented and fast driver for his use of the new Porsche 911 GT3. Fabian Schiller from Troisdorf was his driver for the top-race of the VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The young German thanked the confidence in his person with another superb performance and won the Porsche Cup-Category – together with Osieka, Kiki Sak Nana and Dennis Triebing. In the overall results the GetSpeed-Team reaches a sensational 9th position.

It was no big challenge for Fabian Schiller to adapt with the new car. In the Renault Sport Trophy he already deals with a sports-car, from type R.S.01, which is quiet faster than the Porsche-car. Also Schiller had the chance to drive the GetSpeed-Porsche two weeks ago in terms of 39th DMV Grenzland race. Together with his teammates he reached second in final results. The four international drivers now improved their result and finished round about 40 seconds before their concurrents.

Already during the qualifying-session the team selected the right set-up and reached the pole-position – a very good start in the event at legendary Nürburgring. By the way Fabian Schiller established a new record. Never before a Porsche have been faster than 8:21,905 minutes on this 24,358 kilometers long circuit. The son of former Le Mans-chief Hardy Schiller felt well in his bolide and starts the race for his team. Directly after the start Fabian secured the first position and dominated the race. A quick trip into the gravel bed had no big consequences.

After the first twelve laps there had been the first change of driver. Dennis Triebing now took the steering wheel and delivered a performance without any mistakes. Also Kiki Sak Nana demonstrated the power of this car. Chief Adam Osieka then pushed the car to it´s limit and regain the first place. In the end Fabian Schiller took over control once again and won the race without any problems. „I have no words to say at the moment“, states Adam Osieka after finishing first position. „Great job guys, absolutely great. It is an honor for the team“, he smiles.

„The car was brilliant and the teamwork fantastic. I am very glad about my new lap-record during the qualifying and want to thank my team and teammates, who supported me in every situation. It was great to work with them“, says a confident Fabian Schiller after the race at beautiful and difficult Nürburgring. „A special thank to my father, who explained me a lot and helped me with his experiences“, so Fabian further on.

After this adventure at Nürburgring, Fabian now pay his full attention onto the events in Renault Sport Trophy. In two weeks there will be the next race at Spa-Francochamps in Belgium. The member of AMC Siegburg wants to regain his lead in the rookie-results and secure his lead in the Endurance-results – together with his partner Markus Palttala.
